2009 Homecoming Events Announced

Come join the fun and excitement of Homecoming 2009 as the Maroon Tigers of Morehouse take on the Panthers of Clark Atlanta University. All alumni of Morehouse are invited to register online beginning September 1 for all Homecoming activities. Our theme his year is MONOPOLY: Winner Takes All. An array of activities have been planned for your enjoyment:
- Alumni Golf Tournament — Hosted by the Morehouse College National Alumni Association and the Atlanta Chapter
- Chapter President’s Conference (chapter presidents or designated officer)
- Athletic VIP Reception and “Welcome Back to the House” Party at the Cascade Club
- Homecoming Coronation featuring the crowing of Ms. Maroon and White
- Homecoming Parade — route near West End area and Lowery Blvd
- Homecoming Alumni Tent — a fundraising event to support the Morehouse Athletic Program
- Alumni Tailgate Experience — a festival event held on West End Avenue and Welborne Street
- Pre Game Caribbean Jazz Brunch
- Homecoming Game: Morehouse College vs. Clark Atlanta University
- Alumni Music Soundstage featuring Morehouse and Spelman alumni w/surprise Celebrity Guest
- Homecoming Stepshow featuring members of the Morehouse/Spelman Pan Hellenic Council
- Homecoming Worship Service featuring Michael Waldron '93
